Mortgage Advisor (full or part time / some weekends / evenings)

Our client is a highly customer focussed financial services provider who are recruiting for a Mortgage Advisor to manage incoming leads and customer enquiries. The role involves providing advice and recommendations to customers, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards throughout the mortgage process. The role has flexibility to be either home based or hybrid, but you will need to be able to commute to the Southwest of England for 8 weeks of hybrid training initially.

Key responsibilities of the Mortgage Advisor include:

  • Managing customer enquiries and guiding them through the full mortgage application process.
  • Providing compliant, tailored mortgage advice and product recommendations.
  • Delivering excellent customer experience while building lasting relationships.
  • Collaborating with colleagues, maintaining product knowledge, and resolving issues proactively.
  • Maintaining professional development, ensuring regulatory compliance, and upholding data accuracy.

Required skills & experiences:

  • CEMAP or equivalent qualification is essential.
  • Currently or previous held CAS status at a Tied Mortgage Lender
  • Experience in mortgage sales/advice within the Financial Services sector.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mortgage products.

Details of shift pattern:-

Full time: Tuesday to Friday 12pm – 8pm (spare day could vary)

Saturday 9am -4pm (every other week)

Sunday 9am -1pm (one week in 4)

Part time: Tuesday to Friday 4pm – 8pm (spare day could vary)

Saturday 9am -4pm (every other week)

Sunday 9am -1pm (one week in 4)

Training

  • 6 -8 weeks training period delivered between 9am & 5pm through a combination of face to face and remote sessions.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced mortgage advisor with residential mortgage knowledge. You will of course get great support from the wider business as well as first class training and lots of social activities. In return you can expect a salary of up to £35k + discretionary bonus, generous pension, cash back health scheme and much more.
