Location: Nottingham City & Nottinghamshire County (Home-based with monthly office visits to Ripley, Derbyshire)
Hours: 18 per week | Salary: £24,611 FTE (£11,972 pro rata)
Contract: Permanent
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young carers? We're looking for a dynamic and compassionate individual to join our team as a Carer Engagement Worker: Education. In this impactful role, you'll work directly with schools and education providers to raise awareness of young carers, deliver training, and promote the Carer Friendly Schools quality mark.
You'll be the driving force behind building strong partnerships with educational leads, delivering engaging presentations and workshops, and creating supportive networks for professionals. If you have experience in education, youth work, or social care—and a heart for advocacy—this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
What we're looking for:
Experience in education, youth work, or social care
Confident in delivering training and presentations
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A caring, empathetic, and team-oriented approach
Full driving licence and access to a business-insured vehicle
