  • Manage daily, weekly, and monthly banking updates and reconciliations.
  • Carry out weekly credit control, ensuring debts are collected or escalated, and interest charges are accurately recorded.

Month-End & Audit

  • Complete month-end tasks in line with reporting deadlines.
  • Reconcile all accounts to ensure accurate cost and revenue allocation.
  • Support the annual audit process.

Asset & System Management

  • Maintain and reconcile the Fixed Asset Register, managing additions, disposals, and depreciation schedules.
  • Support departmental queries relating to the IFS system, including set-up, testing, and issue resolution.

Business Support & Analysis

  • Provide financial insights and reporting to internal stakeholders.
  • Challenge overspend or unexpected costs and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support other departments with finance-related queries as required.

  • Inclusive Mindset: Demonstrates a strong commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion. Values diverse perspectives, challenges discriminatory behaviour, and actively supports a culture of fairness and respect.

About You

You'll be a confident and detail-oriented individual with a genuine passion for numbers and process accuracy. You'll take pride in producing work of the highest standard and be motivated by problem-solving and continuous improvement.

As part of a small, dedicated team, you'll balance focus and collaboration, supporting colleagues when needed while also managing your own workload with independence and accountability.

You'll thrive in an environment that values integrity, teamwork, and innovation, and you'll be excited by the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of Morgan.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.

  • Studying toward, or qualified in, AAT or equivalent (desirable but not essential). In the absence of this sufficient finance experience must be evidenced.
  • Passionate about maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism in all financial matters.
