Fire Risk Assessor – Tier 2 or Tier 3

What you'll actually do:

· Carry out fire risk assessments on a range of properties, including industrial, commercial and residential sites

· Work from home to complete high-quality, detailed reports - with enough time built into your schedule to do the job properly

· Visit sites regularly - this isn't a desk-only role; you'll be out and about, engaging with real environments and real clients

· Collaborate with like-minded professionals, sharing knowledge and learning from a supportive team of experts

· Stay ahead in your field with ongoing CPD opportunities and exposure to a wide variety of projects

· Contribute to safety and compliance for our clients, making a real difference in the built environment

What about you?

· Who they are and how they fit into the environment

· 5+ years' experience within the built environment in industrial, residential or commercial buildings

· Recognised body membership in health, safety and fire e.g. AIFireE, MIFireE, GIFireE, MIFSM or MIFPO, GRADIOSH, CMIOSH, MIIRSM, NEBOSH Diploma, NCRQ Level 6

· Listed on/or eligible to apply to any of the following fire risk assessors registers Tier 2 or 3 IFSM, FRACS or Fire Risk Assessors Register (IFE)

· Good working knowledge of Approved Document B and BS 9999 / 9997

Desirable but not essential:

· Experience with complex buildings and engineered solutions within the built environment

· Must be happy to undertake Fire Risk Assessments and General Risk Assessments at the same time

· Experience with General Risk Assessments in buildings

· Strong interpersonal skills and report writing abilities as well as a comprehensive understanding of current UK regulations
