At Leonardo we have an exciting opportunity for a People Partner to join the People Team in Edinburgh. Home of the Radar and Advanced Targeting Line of Business we are as one of the world's top manufacturers of radars, lasers and infra-red countermeasure systems with circa 2,000 employees on site.
This People Partner role offers a real opportunity to make an impact by working closely with the business to create an environment of trust, ownership and empowerment that energises employees to perform at their best.
What You Will Do As a People Partner
- You will support the People Team in delivering and leading projects in the RATS line of business across a range of people areas including resourcing, employee engagement and performance management.
- You will support the People Team and functional leadership teams to mature and embed the UK People Plan.
- You will support the application of best people practice and the enhancement of leadership skills that align to Leonardo's values and its People Management Fundamentals.
- You will facilitate workshops and coaching of leaders and managers.
- You will working in partnership with the outsourced HR provider to ensure a seamless delivery of operational and administrative People services.
What You'll Bring
- A People professional with a track record of delivering positive people focused change
- The ability to engage and interact with all levels of the organisation and build effective working relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Proficient in IT – Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- A team player who can work well with the local and the UK People team.
- The ability to work independently, multi task and deliver to tight deadlines.
Security Clearance
This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government's Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). An additional range of Personnel Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NSV) may apply, this could include meeting the eligibility requirements for The Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
