Your new role

As Global Head of Data Centre, you'll lead the strategy behind multi-gigawatt infrastructure growth, with a focus on securing 25MW+ sites across key global markets. You'll shape long-term capacity plans, drive complex deal-making, and structure creative funding models-from co-investment to build-to-suit. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution, from technical validation and site selection to commercial negotiation and partnership development. You'll also set the bar for technical standards, oversee major build projects, and stay ahead of innovation in AI and HPC infrastructure.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience developing and executing large-scale data centre strategies, ideally at hyperscale (multi-gigawatt programmes).
  • Deep technical knowledge of AI/HPC infrastructure requirements, including power density, direct liquid cooling, and high-speed networking.
  • A strong track record of securing access to large-scale facilities (25MW+) through strategic partnerships or development.
  • Expertise in capacity planning, energy efficiency, sustainability initiatives, and resilience frameworks.
  • Commercial acumen with experience structuring innovative deals and alternative financing models.
  • Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence board-level decisions and external partners.
  • Outstanding communication skills, capable of translating complex technical and financial concepts into strategic narratives.
