We are looking for a data analyst co-ordinator to proactively coordinate and support leakage targeting for the divisional leakage teams.

What you'll do

The role will focus primarily on providing accurate, consistent and reliable data to the field teams, enabling them to optimise detection activities to meet the leakage targets.

Specific Responsibilities Will Include

  • generating regular leakage priority and targeting updates
  • maintaining an active dialogue with divisional teams to ensure 'added-value' to detection activity
  • developing optimised processes and reports
  • developing activity feedback and recording from local teams to improve data for future analysis
  • maintaining DMA and control zone (area flow) configurations with corporate systems (WATERNET and The Water Supply App)
  • developing and updating WIS zone schematics for the supply business
  • maintaining alarm thresholds in the Water Supply APP
  • identifying data quality and logger issues
  • reporting DMA calculation issues to the Leakage Planning and Reporting team
  • updating and recording leakage meter, PRV and all logger information to GIS
  • raising and scheduling work requests and maintenance jobs.

What you'll need

  • Excellent and proven communication skills at all levels.
  • Excellent customer interaction and communication skills.
  • Experienced in interpreting & working with data sets.
  • A meticulous approach to detail.
  • A thorough and practical understanding of leakage processes and techniques.
  • Excellent IT Skills.
  • Data analysis skills.
  • Report writing.
  • Acoustic leak technology knowledge.
  • Flow and pressure data logging knowledge.
  • A clean UK driving license
