We are specifically looking for a female carer.

We are primarily looking for people who live closer to specified area.

We are looking for Domiciliary Health Care Assistant in Kingston Upon Thames, Epsom, Esher , Leatherhead, and the Surrounding Areas.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing care and assistance to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for implementing care plans and providing support tailored to each individual's needs.

Duties

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
  • Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Implement care plans developed by healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
  • Assist with medication management as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Support clients with dementia care, ensuring their safety and comfort while engaging them in meaningful activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in health or behaviour to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in case management to provide comprehensive support for clients.

Skills

  • Experience in senior care or assisted living settings is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
  • Understanding of dementia care principles and techniques for effective communication with individuals experiencing cognitive decline.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
