About Harmonic Security
Harmonic Security lets teams adopt AI tools safely by protecting sensitive data in real time with minimal effort. It gives enterprises full control and stops leaks so that their teams can innovate confidently. We are led by cybersecurity experts and backed by top investors including N47, Ten Eleven Ventures, and In-Q-Tel. We've gained early traction and product-market fit with a world-class team, and we're now focused on laying the foundation for a truly iconic global brand. This is your opportunity to join us early and shape not just a brand, but a category.
About the Team
The Product team sits at the centre of how Harmonic shapes the future of AI security. We partner closely with Engineering, Design, and GTM teams to understand customer needs, explore opportunities with depth, and deliver impactful solutions. As we scale, the need for stronger operating systems, clearer shared context, and tighter cross-functional alignment grows rapidly.
About the Role
As Harmonic's first Product Operations Manager, you will build the operating backbone that accelerates product velocity, improves decision quality, and strengthens cross-functional alignment. This is a hands-on, systems-oriented role for someone who loves transforming ambiguity into clarity and enabling PMs to do the highest-leverage work: deep discovery, sharpening problem definitions, and making the decisions that shape the product.
You will make the Product team 10x more effective by implementing scalable processes, building trusted insights, and ensuring communication flows smoothly across Engineering, Design, and GTM.
This is a foundational role with broad visibility and company-wide impact.
What You'll Do
Build the Product Operating System
- Design and implement a clear, lightweight operating model for how ideas move through capture → discovery → prioritisation → delivery.
- Establish core product rituals (roadmap reviews, planning cadences, discovery forums, release readiness) and ensure they're predictable, efficient, and widely adopted.
- Develop templates, frameworks, and standards that support high-quality discovery and decision-making.
- Proactively identify bottlenecks and lead improvements that increase speed, consistency, and alignment.
Create a High-Fidelity Product Insights Engine
- Partner with PMs, Engineering and TechOps to ensure robust instrumentation and clarity around key product metrics.
- Build dashboards, reports, and telemetry views that provide trusted insight into product performance and customer behaviour.
- Consolidate data and signals from Sales, CS, Marketing, Support, research, and analytics into clear, actionable narratives.
- Produce regular insight briefs that inform strategy, surface emerging opportunities, and strengthen prioritisation.
Drive Cross-Functional Alignment & Communication
- Ensure GTM teams have a clear, anticipatory view of product strategy, roadmap changes, and release timelines.
- Lead cross-functional launch governance, aligning timelines, dependencies, and communication across teams.
- Facilitate centralised forums - Release Overviews, Sales Insights sessions, roadmap conversations - that bring teams together with shared context.
- Maintain structured feedback loops, ensuring field insights reliably influence product decisions.
Own Product Tooling, Infrastructure & Enablement
- Manage and optimise our product management tooling ecosystem.
- Configure workflows, define standards, and drive adoption across Product and Engineering.
- Introduce new tools or automation where they meaningfully improve collaboration, visibility, or insight.
- Support PMs with data, reporting, and tooling so they can stay focused on high-impact product decisions..
What Success Looks Like (6–12 months)
- A consistent, transparent product development flow used across the organisation.
- PMs spending significantly more time on driving outcomes, and less on coordination or tooling.
- Insight-driven reporting that informs roadmap conversations and strategic decisions.
- GTM teams consistently aligned on roadmap, release timelines, and product messaging.
- Product tooling that is well-configured, well-adopted, and tailored to how we work.
- Noticeable improvements in product velocity, predictability, alignment, and decision quality.
You've become a strategic enabler for Product, clarity engine for GTM, and a partner trusted across the organisation.
You Might Be a Fit If You…
- Create clarity out of ambiguity. You bring structure, narrative, and momentum where things are undefined.
- Enable others to do their best work. You measure success by the leverage you create for PMs, Engineers, and GTM teams.
- Love building systems that scale. You enjoy designing elegant processes and workflows that make product work smoother and more predictable.
- Move quickly and iterate. Progress matters more than perfection, and you refine as you go.
- See patterns others miss. You synthesise signals across data, customer insights, and cross-functional feedback into clear direction.
- Thrive in high-growth environments. You're energised by shaping how a product team operates as it scales.
- Are curious about AI and cybersecurity. You're excited about working at the frontier of an evolving category.
Requirements

- Hands-on experience with tooling such as Jira, Notion, Pendo, and intake/feedback systems.
- Comfort working with deeply technical or data-intensive products; experience in cybersecurity or AI is a strong advantage.
Skills & Traits
- Exceptional communication and facilitation; able to align diverse stakeholders and turn complexity into crisp narratives.
- A systems thinker who builds scalable processes, structure, and clarity.
