What will I be doing?

The Account Manager full-time role is pivotal within the company, as they will be sharing responsibility with their Director on all core campaign aspects and agreed additional activities. The successful candidate will be maintaining contact with clients, supporting the Director in results delivery, as well as nurturing and developing fellow team members.

Key responsibilities:

  • Press liaison
    – Skilfully craft compelling stories and angles to proactively pitch to your media contacts, showcasing an understanding of the evolving media landscape.
  • Client management
    – Addressing day-to-day client management with confidence and professionalism.
  • Media coverage
    – Analysing coverage quantitatively and qualitatively against KPIs.
  • Campaign delivery
    – Assisting with client campaign strategy and overseeing all core aspects and additional activities such events, launches, and photo shoots.
  • Content creation
    – Writing and editing feature-led content and expert comments from clients, ensuring it aligns with campaign objectives and resonates with target audiences.
  • Influencer management
    – Identifying and managing relationships with relevant influencers to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and reach, ensuring alignment with campaign goals.
  • Business development
    – Identifying opportunities and participating in business generation through research and contributions to proposals and campaign ideas.
  • Team management
    – Assigning roles and responsibilities, planning activities, managing and motivating the team, and nurturing talent.
  • Loan and sample management

    Coordinating the procurement and return of product loans and samples for press events and shoots, ensuring effective tracking and management of inventory.
  • Budget management –
    Assisting in managing client budgets to ensure all activities remain within agreed parameters while obtaining competitive quotes from suppliers as needed.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring all aspects of projects are meticulously managed and that high-quality work is consistently delivered.
  • Resilience and composure under pressure, effectively managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of work.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build relationships based on mutual trust and understanding with clients, journalists and influencers.
  • A knowledge of wider marketing practices and a thorough understanding of the industry and marketplace, with a keen interest in networking and staying up to date with new approaches.
