As we continue to scale, we are looking for a passionate and experiencedHR Managerto join us in shaping the future of our people strategy.Role OverviewTheHR Managerwill oversee and drive all aspects of HR across the business, including employee relations, recruitment, compliance, learning & development, and culture building. This role is critical in ensuring Scrumconnect remains an exceptional place to work, with people at the heart of everything we do.You will act as a trusted advisor to leadership while also being hands-on in implementing HR practices that support our growth and values.Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee Relations & EngagementAct as the first point of contact for HR-related queries.Drive employee engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion initiatives.Implementing and managing performance management systems, including setting up KPIs, regular performance reviews and employee development plans.Employee relations: Handling employee relations issues such as grievances, disciplinary procedures and mediating conflicts to maintain a positive work environment.Recruitment & OnboardingManage end-to-end recruitment alongside hiring managers.Develop innovative strategies to attract and retain top digital and tech talent.Ensure smooth onboarding and induction experiences.Policy, Compliance & SystemsEnsure HR policies are up to date with UK employment law and best practice.Oversee HR systems, contracts, and data compliance (GDPR).Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.Ensuring the company complies with UK employment laws and regulations, including health and safety standards.Learning & DevelopmentPartner with leadership to identify training needs and career development pathways.Introduce learning programmes that align with individual growth and company goals.Compensation and benefits: Managing payroll and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with industry standards.Strategic HR LeadershipCollaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives.Contribute to workforce planning and organisational development.Support in building a culture of high performance, accountability, and collaboration.Qualifications & ExperienceDegree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.CIPD Level 5 (essential) or Level 7 (desirable).Proven HR generalist experience within the UK (7+ years).Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.Experience in a fast-growing or consultancy/tech environment desirable.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Proactive, approachable, and solutions-focused mindset.What We OfferCompetitive Salary: £45,000 – £65,000 depending on experience.Generous Leave: 25 days holiday + 8 UK Bank Holidays.Pension scheme, Rewards Gateway, Bupa health insurance, Life insurance.Professional development and trainings.A collaborative, supportive, and people-first culture.Where you'll workYour working time at Scrumconnect will be split between multiple locations, including from our HQ and hub locations, client site or home.
