Platform Engineer – Quantitative Crypto Trading Firm | London | Sponsorship and relocation support available

Join a leading quantitative crypto trading firm building globally distributed, ultra-low-latency systems that power their research and execution platform.

You'll work at the intersection of infrastructure, software, and performance engineering - solving deep technical problems at scale.

What you'll do:

  • Own and optimise infrastructure behind a 24/7 web data and trading platform spanning multiple clouds and regions.
  • Tune Linux network stacks, automate infrastructure, and reduce latency across the pipeline.
  • Partner closely with developers and infra teams to improve architecture, reliability, and performance.
  • Drive adoption of modern tooling (Python, Bash, Terraform, Kubernetes, Prometheus, etc.) while staying hands-on.

What we're looking for:

  • Strong background in Linux, networking, and cloud (AWS essential; multi-cloud ideal).
  • Skilled in Python/Bash and comfortable debugging distributed systems.
  • Experience in high-throughput, low-latency, or large-scale environments (finance, trading, or scraping preferred).
