About us and the role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Trust Data Analyst to join our central team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to play a key part in our data-driven approach as we continue to expand and strengthen our work as a high-achieving Multi Academy Trust (MAT).

Avanti Schools Trust is a growing MAT, providing pupils across its schools with an outstanding education grounded in the inclusive and distinctive Avanti ethos of educational excellence, character development, and spiritual insight.

In this role, you will support schools from Reception to Year 13, providing high-quality insights, analysis and reporting tools that help leaders make well-informed decisions at every level. Working closely with senior leaders and school staff, you will help drive improvements through thoughtful and impactful data analysis.

The position can be based at any of our locations in London, Bishop's Stortford, the South West or Leicester, with the benefit of predominantly working from home and occasional visits to schools and our Central Office in Stanmore. You will also have access to the support and development you need to thrive in the role.

If you are looking to make a meaningful contribution through high-quality data work, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Although experience in education or a Multi Academy Trust is preferred, we are open to strong candidates from other sectors who can demonstrate adaptability and confidence in interpreting varied data sets.

We are open to flexible working arrangements.

School visits are welcomed and encouraged. Please contact the school to arrange a suitable time.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing Multi Academy Trust with schools based in London, the midlands and the South West of England. All Avanti schools provide pupils with an outstanding education rooted in the inclusive and distinctive Avanti Schools ethos of educational excellence, character development, and spiritual insight.

What will you do?

  • Oversee trust-wide data management, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance across all MIS platforms and statutory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain reporting systems and automated tools that provide clear, actionable insights for schools from Reception to Year 13.
  • Analyse performance data across all key stages, producing high-quality reports that support evaluation, target-setting and decision-making.
  • Provide expert support, training and guidance to school and trust leaders on data systems, assessment processes and best practice.
  • Contribute to strategic data initiatives, improving processes and collaborating on trust-wide projects to enhance data quality and efficiency.

Why should you apply

Avanti exists to help each person become a well-rounded human being through intellectual, moral and spiritual growth, and so make the world a better place.

You will be working in a fantastic environment, with:

  • Great opportunities for professional development
  • NEST pension scheme (subject to eligibility)
  • O2 discounts, Specsavers corporate eye test vouchers
  • Flexible working opportunities
  • Eligible for NUS Card and CSSC membership
  • Well-being programs (retreats, yoga, wellness apps)
  • • Cycle-to-work Scheme

What are we looking for?

  • Significant experience with education MIS systems (Arbor, SIMS, Bromcom or similar)
  • Experience with data analysis tools (SISRA, Google Looker Studio, Power BI, or advanced Excel)
  • Highly effective administration and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of GDPR and data protection legislation
  • Commitment to the education and welfare of children and young people
