Management Accountant

We're working with a well-established manufacturing business near Ely that's looking for an experienced Management Accountant to take ownership of financial reporting, analysis, and performance insight for one of their UK sites. This is a role where you can really make an impact and contribute to the future performance and success of the business.
This isn't just about producing reports - it's about partnering with operations, influencing decisions, and helping the site achieve its goals. So if you've got strong technical skills, a commercial mindset, and a bit of flair and personality, this could be the perfect move for you.
What you'll be doing:
- Producing weekly, monthly, and annual management accounts and financial reports
- Providing variance analysis and performance commentary
- Managing stock valuation, reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Leading audits and supporting VAT and tax reporting
- Preparing budgets, forecasts, and CAPEX business cases
- Partnering with site leadership to drive efficiency and profitability
What we're looking for:
- Qualified (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or part-qualified Accountant with a strong practical experience in management accounts
- Solid experience in a management accounting role within manufacturing
- Excellent Excel and analytical skills
- Strong communicator with the confidence to influence non-finance colleagues
- A proactive approach and genuine interest in improving performance
