Role Overview

We're seeking a
Technical Services Lead
to oversee and coordinate our service desk operations, manage technical escalations, and lead internal and client-facing projects. This is a hybrid role combining hands-on technical work with leadership and coordination responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Escalations (50%)

  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues across client environments.
  • Lead and deliver internal and client IT projects (e.g., migrations, deployments, upgrades).
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the service desk team.

Service Desk Support (25%)

  • Participate in day-to-day service desk operations, resolving tickets and supporting clients.
  • Ensure SLAs are met and customer satisfaction remains high.
  • Assist with onboarding new clients and users.

Service Coordination & PSA Management (25%)

  • Manage and optimise workflows within
    Halo PSA
    .
  • Monitor ticket queues, project timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure work is completed accurately and on time, with proper documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in an MSP environment.
  • Strong technical background in IT Support, Automation, Cloud, Cyber Security and Networking functions that include but not limited to: Azure, O365, Azure, SOC, SIEM, Router, Switches, DNS, Backups, DR, JML, MDR, EDR.
  • Experience managing or coordinating service desk teams.
  • Familiarity with PSA tools (Halo PSA preferred).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
