A leading transformation consultancy is expanding its specialist SAP Utilities capability and looking for a
Senior Manager – SAP S/4HANA Solution Architect (Utilities)
to shape major S/4HANA programmes across Water, Energy and Power.

What you'll be doing

  • Designing, configuring and deploying S/4HANA solutions aligned to best practice and Utilities sector standards.
  • Leading solution architecture assessments with senior stakeholders across Water, Power, Nuclear and Renewables.
  • Translating complex business requirements into scalable, robust and technically sound designs.
  • Making key design decisions using "adopt, not adapt" principles to simplify and future-proof the landscape.
  • Developing strategies to solve complex technical challenges unique to the Utilities sector.
  • Mobilising delivery teams and establishing the right architecture artefacts and governance models.
  • Supporting pre-sales, shaping proposals and contributing to new business opportunities.
  • Coaching and supervising consultants across the solution and delivery teams.

What they're looking for

  • Essential:
    Experience delivering SAP in the Utilities sector — Water, Electricity Transmission/Distribution, Nuclear or Renewables.
  • At least
    two full lifecycle S/4HANA programmes
    in the Utilities domain.
  • Deep expertise in one or more SAP modules:
    Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, Service or EAM
    .
  • Proven leadership of solution architecture for multiple end-to-end S/4 implementations.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and the evolving SAP landscape.
  • Confident communicator, able to simplify technical architecture for senior non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of best practice design and architecture principles.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills across business and IT.
  • Pre-sales experience — comfortable influencing, shaping and presenting solution options.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment with changing priorities.
