Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchaser based in Willenhall, Birmingham, UK. The Purchaser will be responsible for sourcing and procuring materials and supplies, negotiating with vendors to secure the best prices and terms, and managing relationships with suppliers. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with internal teams to meet project requirements, and maintaining records of purchased goods and services. The role also involves ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance of all procured items.

Qualifications

  • Strong procurement and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships
  • Attention to detail, organizational abilities, and proficiency in managing inventory levels and records
  • Experience in supply chain management, vendor coordination, and cost analysis
  • Proficiency with procurement software and basic knowledge of financial principles
  • Strong problem-solving skills, time management, and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in the retail, signage, or print industries is an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferable
