I am currently recruiting for a Purchasing Assistant to join my client in Willenhall on a permanent basis. As the Purchasing Assistant you will liaise with external suppliers to source materials at the most cost effective price and maintain stock within agreedtime limits.
**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Liaise with external suppliers to obtain materials at a cost effective price
- Keeping customers informed of delivery dates and lead times
- Provide internal employees with latest schedules from suppliers
- Process purchase orders in line with customer requirements
- Assist in resolving pricing or invoice issues
- Booking in stock into the system
- Excellent negotiation skills
- At least two year’s experience in a purchasing role is preferable
- Able to communicate at a high level
- Must be a proficient user of Microsoft Office package
