Responsibilities

Role Purpose

As Retail Supervisor, you will support the Management Team to lead the store team in delivering outstanding customer service, achieving sales targets, maintaining visual standards and ensuring operational excellence in line with Reiss brand values. You will be a key part of driving store performance and ensuring a high-end retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Management Team in delivering the store's sales, profit and customer service targets.

  • Lead and motivate the sales team: delegating tasks, providing coaching and training, conducting team briefings and performance reviews.

  • Ensure consistently excellent customer service, building relationships with clients, and maintaining the brand's elevated service standards.

  • Oversee store opening/closing procedures, cashing up, banking, till reconciliation, and store security protocols.

  • Drive visual merchandising standards

  • Engage with the product offering: have a good understanding of menswear/womenswear collections, features and benefits, and assist customers with styling advice.

  • Assist with in-store events, promotions and the roll-out of new collections or brand campaigns.

  • Maintain compliance with company policies, health & safety.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

  • Retail supervisory in a fashion or premium retail environment.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading a team.

  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to engage with a discerning clientele.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to motivate and coach team members.

  • Good commercial awareness

  • A strong eye for visual merchandising and store presentation.

  • Flexibility to work retail hours (including weekends, bank holidays and late nights as required by Bicester Village trading).

  • Proactive, organised, hands-on and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Passion for fashion and a good knowledge or interest in menswear/womenswear trends appropriate to Reiss.
