As a Financial Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and improving financial reporting processes. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to manage financial data effectively.

Client Details

This is a retail business based in Manchester city centre. They are committed to maintaining high standards in financial management and reporting to support their business growth. The business operates flexibly and requires 2 days a week in the office with up to 3 days a week working from home.

They will look at a broad range of candidates from newly qualified accountants making their first move into industry to people at a more senior level looking to progress their career in a growing organisation.

Description

  • Manage and oversee the preparation of accurate financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Support external audit processes and liaise with auditors.
  • Develop and enhance financial reporting systems and tools.
  • Provide guidance and support to the accounting team.
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts to aid strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.

Profile

The successful Financial Reporting Manager should have:

  • Qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and practices.
  • A professional qualification in accounting or finance.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.

Job Offer
