Overview:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals younger adults who are in need. Your role will make a meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable service users.

Some of your Duties may include:

- Provide supporting younger adults with developing their independent skills

- Supporting service users with attending healthcare and professional appointments

- Supporting with grocery and meal preparation

- Dealing with challenging behaviour

- Support service users with completing domestic tasks such as cleaning and laundry

- Provide emotional support to service users

Qualifications:

- Level 3 or above in working with children and young people

  • Team teach training or related challenging behaviour training
  • Ability to work with individuals of all ages up to age 16

  • Strong written / verbal communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and external bodies

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office (word, excel) necessary

  • Compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others

  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team

  • Experience of Ofsted inspection

  • Valid driver's license is desirable
