Join JPMorgan Chase as a Trade Lifecycle Associate Explore opportunities, lead improvements, and apply your skills today As a Derivative Operations Documentation Analyst, in Market Operations Team, you'll be responsible for managing daily tasks and remediation activities while leading process improvement. 

Job responsibilities
  • Draft structured confirmations using trade risk management systems and terms sheets
  • Understand structured products and the respective legal documentation requirements, including, but not limited to, long-form confirmations, Transaction Supplements and Master Confirmation Agreements.
  • Drive efficiency in the current process and identify incorrect booking practices and educate Middle Office on the impact
  • Manage of workflow in a queue, ensuring that allocations are managed in a timely manner 
  • Ensure drafting is checked for accuracy of financial details and ISDA language and are in accordance with JPMorgan and market standards.
  • Build and sustain strong working relationships with internal Lines of Business including Middle Office, Front Office, and internal counterparts
  • Ensure all issues are investigated and resolved in a timely manner as per Business Standards
  • Review of the process to identify possible improvements and that sufficient controls and procedures are in place and adhered to, in order to guard the Bank from risk or exposure.
  • Ensure the confirmation process follows the Bank's compliance, audit and legal policies.
  • Work with traders and marketers, marketing support groups, middle office, Legal, client servicing team and other departments on a daily basis. 
  • Produce and monitor of daily and weekly MIS.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex product coverage efficiently.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities and capable of shifting workload seamlessly.
  • Proven flexibility in handling dynamic and fast-paced trading environments.
  • Comfortable and effective in managing stress within high-pressure situations.
  • Strong analytical skills with complementary communications and presentation skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Needs to be highly numerate with excellent keyboard skills and a high-level of computer literacy
  • Needs to be aware and have an understanding of the large financial risks that can be incurred through operational errors and control risks
  • Advanced skills in process improvement methodologies, with a track record of optimizing operations in a financial services environment

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • ISDA knowledge, Derivatives product knowledge and experience is preferred but not vital
  • Self-starter, ability to learn quickly, Strong leadership skills with focus to mitigate risks and taking proactive approach to ensure "Best in Class" results..
