We're looking for a skilled and reliable Chef to join our busy new Coco & Nut Coffee site in Croydon.

We specialise in breakfast and brunch dishes – from full English breakfasts to pancakes, toasties, and more.

Our kitchen averages around 50 covers per day, so we're looking for someone confident working independently, able to manage a breakfast rush, and maintain consistency and quality in every plate served.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook breakfast and brunch dishes to a high standard
  • Work independently and manage orders during busy periods
  • Maintain excellent food presentation and portion control
  • Ensure kitchen cleanliness and compliance with food hygiene standards
  • Assist with daily prep, stock rotation, and waste management
  • Communicate effectively with front-of-house and management

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Chef or Cook (breakfast/brunch experience preferred)
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Reliable, punctual, and organised
  • Positive attitude and good communication skills
