Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Responsibility for diagnosis and treatment of illness for a number of general medical in-patients.

The general medical emergency on-call rota – Frequency will be reduced to 1:11 weekdays. The on-call Consultant must be available between for advice and to come in if required. The evening and morning weekday ward rounds are undertaken by the Acute Physicians. Acute and GIM weekend rounds – please see job plan for details.
