London, Greater London, United Kingdom Future of London Full time

Future of London is recruiting an experienced Learning Programmes Manager to join our dedicated and inclusive team. As London's leading leadership and knowledge-sharing network for the housing and regeneration sector, we are all committed to improving homes and communities in the capital.

You will deliver the
Housing Development Academy (HDA)
, a successful and growing skills initiative that helps local authorities deliver thousands of new affordable homes for Londoners.

With your experience in developing learning programmes, you will
design and deliver training, peer support and best practice events
for our Knowledge and Networks programmes.

While we don't need you to be a housing expert, this is a
fantastic opportunity if you are passionate about professional development
and delivering excellent training services.

You'll love this role if you are...

  • driven by helping people build their confidence and reach their potential through practical learning activities
  • experienced in project management and get satisfaction from seeing goals achieved
  • confident in a small, busy team and relish a variety of tasks, using your meticulous project management and training skills
  • committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

Key responsibilities

  • Curriculum development
    – devise excellent courses and events, from advising on the course content to briefing speakers and ensuring an excellent experience for participants on the day
  • Programme management
    – developing detailed project plans and monitoring performance, with high-quality evaluation reports
  • Stakeholder engagement
    – you will be fostering strong relationships with participants, speakers and training providers
  • Marketing and engagement
    – using your great communication skills to secure bookings for our learning programmes, including engaging web and social media content

What you will bring

  • A strong track record in designing, commissioning, and/or delivering professional learning events such as technical training, seminars, or peer support activities
  • Excellent project management experience, with the ability to create and maintain effective systems
  • A track record of successfully marketing courses or similar professional development offers, with a commitment to using evaluation to drive continuous improvement
  • An interest in the built environment, particularly housing, is desirable but not essential.
