Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic and driven Program Manager to lead, scale, and evolve the Ziti Academy. You will be responsible for the end-to-end success of our Academy programmes from designing an excellent learning experience and building a vibrant community to forging corporate partnerships that ensure our graduates' success.
The ideal candidate is equal parts operator, community builder, and business developer. You are passionate about education and high performance, and skilled at building the systems and relationships that turn potential into outcome.
Key Responsibilities
1. Programme Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead and manage the Academy delivery team, including trainers and engineers, to ensure high-quality programme delivery.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, providing coaching, mentorship, and clear direction.
- Oversee the end-to-end planning, logistics, and delivery of all Academy programmes, ensuring a seamless and impactful learner experience.
- Develop and manage programme calendars, schedules, and capacity to optimize resource allocation and outcomes.
Implement and manage systems for tracking learner attendance, engagement, and progress, intervening proactively to ensure success.
Business Development & Corporate Partnerships:
Play a lead role in the growth and commercial success of the Academy. This includes developing new programme propositions based on market demand.
- Develop and execute engagement and marketing strategies to attract high-potential candidates to the Academy.
Collaborate with the sales team to align Academy outputs with student needs and client expectations.
Community Building & Learner Success:
Create and nurture a vibrant, collaborative, and supportive community for learners, graduates (alumni), and instructors.
- Collaborate closely with the Media Marketing team to develop and execute a promotion strategy that builds the Ziti Academy brand, attracts high-potential candidates, and engages our corporate audience.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all Academy inquiries, fostering a culture of responsiveness and support.
Continuous Improvement & Impact:
Manage the collection and analysis of learner feedback to continuously refine curriculum, teaching methods, and the overall experience.
- Define, track and report on key success metrics, including academy attendee rates, programme delivery and content quality, resource performance on client projects etc.
- Leverage digital tools and AI to scale personalised support and enhance programme delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- 3+ years of experience in programme or project management, with a proven track record of success.
- Demonstrable experience in designing, delivering, and improving learning programmes.
- Direct experience in business development, sales, or commercial partnership development, preferably in an edtech, bootcamp, or training environment.
- Experience managing cohorts, alumni groups, or social impact programs.
- Strong technical aptitude and comfort with AI, digital learning technologies, and CRMs.
Highly Desirable:
- Experience working in a fast-paced bootcamp, online learning platform, edtech startup, or other training environment.
- A strong network within the tech industry, particularly in the UK and/or Africa.
- A passion for and understanding of the African technology talent landscape.
