Salt Horse is hiring part-time front of house staff / bartenders to join our small, friendly team in the heart of Edinburgh's Old Town.

This is an ongoing position with regular part-time hours. The role includes regular Friday and weekend shifts, so you should be available during those times. There is potential for additional shifts or future full-time work for the right person.

About Us

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Edinburgh's Old Town, Salt Horse is an easy-going, friendly bar that specialises in excellent food and drink in a casual setting. With 14 draught lines and around 200 bottles and cans, we're a beer-focused venue, with a small curated list of wines and spirits. Our kitchen prides itself on crafting top-notch food, with a menu that includes excellent burgers and diverse vegan/vegetarian options. Our small and passionate team thrives on creating an exciting and welcoming atmosphere for both our customers and colleagues.

We are on the hunt for enthusiastic front of house staff / bartenders who share our passion for great drinks and exceptional service. Whether you're a seasoned pro behind the bar or new to the scene with an interest in craft beer and a knack for great customer service, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to all guests
  • Share and expand your knowledge of craft beers with customers
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a clean and inviting bar environment
