We are looking for an
Operations Director
to lead a division currently specialising in void management for the MOD (they do cover other sectors but this is the core focus at present). It's a senior level role, with real responsibility, covering the Home Counties, Southern England, and the south coast.

You will be the driving force behind operational delivery - setting the standard for efficiency, safety, and service excellence across the region. From strategic planning through to on-the-ground execution, your decisions will shape the division's performance and reputation.

This isn't about day-to-day firefighting; it's about
ownership
. You will lead, inspire, and develop a team of managers, operational staff, and key stakeholders, embedding a culture of accountability and high performance.

What you'll bring:

  • Senior operational leadership experience, ideally within MOD, housing, or related facilities management sectors
  • Proven ability to run large teams and multiple sites across a wide geography
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a track record of driving efficiency and operational improvement
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills - internal teams, clients, and contractors
  • A strategic mindset, combined with a willingness to get involved when needed
