MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN - EMBEDDED AT SITE

SOUTHAMPTON

SALARY – NAECI GRADE 5 - £44,341.44

This role is pivotal to the quality of the work undertaken by Trillium aligned to client requirements. Based at an oil refinery on the south coast of England, the primary responsibility being rotating equipment maintenance activities.

Role and Key Responsibilities

• Workings safely to an industry leading site safety programme
• Working within site requirements for both planned and unplanned maintenances activities on Plant equipment
• The removal, installation and overhaul of rotating equipment
• Asset breakdown maintenance and fault finding of equipment
• Producing comprehensive reports, plans and solutions for equipment

Requirements:

• Time served qualified Mechanical Fitter/Technician in a suitable discipline
• Experience working on process equipment including but not limited to Pumps, Gearboxes, Fans, Mixers, Motors, Valves and Turbines
• Experience within the Oil Gas or Petrochemical Industry or a similar working environment
• Good communication skills verbally and written
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Positive, flexible attitude with strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of self-motivation
• All tools and equipment supplied
