We're offering an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Vehicle Mechanic or Technician to join our experienced team. This hands-on role provides direct mentorship from master technicians and the chance to work on Land Rover, Range Rover and Jaguar.

About K Motors

K Motors is a leading independent specialist for Land Rover and Range Rover vehicles in the North West. Closely partnered with LRDirect, a global parts supplier, we operate from a modern, fully equipped service and repair centre in Leyland. Our workshop is clean, organised, and supported with full Land Rover technical resources.

What You'll Do

  • Perform general vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Report issues and update job statuses using internal systems
  • Learn diagnostics, electrical systems, and advanced repair techniques under expert supervision
  • Use the latest tools and equipment in a structured, supportive training environment

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Occasional overtime available by agreement

What We Offer

OTE up to £36,400 per year

  • £14.50/hour basic rate (40 hours/week)
  • Performance bonus of up to £3.00/hour

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Motor Vehicle Maintenance
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in vehicle repair
  • A strong commitment to learning and development
  • Good timekeeping, a positive attitude, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to perform routine mechanical servicing and maintenance tasks
