At Junkyard Golf Club, Oxford, we're all about insane crazy golf, epic cocktails, and an unforgettable experience. With three chaotic courses and an immersive atmosphere, we're looking for a Team Leader (Host) who can assist the current management team, supervising the reception area, our courses, assisting with GEX and bookings. They will also support the bar and other areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Work closely with the Guest Experience Manager to support day-to-day operations
  • Be the point of contact for group and corporate bookings.
  • Oversee our GEX, booking and ticketing processes.
  • Dealing with queries, questions and complaints.
  • Supervise and support the experience team, ensuring high standards.
  • Be cross-trained in the bar and step in to supervise bar operations when required.
  • Carry out weekly stock audits and assist with stock control.
  • To deliver on-the-job initial, basic and ongoing training and coaching, to all of the guest experience team.
  • To perform all duties/responsibilities of a receptionist/host/course marshal as required

What We're Looking For:

  • Has worked in a customer facing role and demonstrates exceptional customer service and guest experience.
  • Loves delivering next-level customer service.
  • Communicates confidently and understands our booking and GEX processes.
  • Has experience in working as a supervisor/team leader, can deliver basic training and leads a team with energy and positivity.
  • Holds superb communication skills, is organised and punctual.
  • Stays calm and organised during busy shifts.
  • Is proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
  • Builds excellent relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Can deal with difficult and demanding customers with ease.
  • Is crossed trained on the bar and can deliver items on the menu confidently.
