We are looking for a
Robot Specialist
to join our
After Sales Department in STIGA UK
to
support STIGA dealers and customers by offering expert technical guidance on robotic lawnmowers, assisting with complaint resolution, and providing hands-on support for the assembly, operation, and proper use of our robotic products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical support both internally and to dealers, service workshops, and end customers when they call with robot related product issues.
- Provide expert advice on product setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
- Train dealers for robotics related matters.
- Help dealers with their first on-site installs (if needed).
- Handle and approve warranty claims.
- Test and troubleshoot robot products (one site or remotely).
- Repair robotics products.
- Plan and conduct annual service courses for workshops and dealers.
- On-site support for dealers to provide service courses and training.
- Attend conferences, trade shows (e.g., Garden & Landscape), and meetings at STIGA HQ in Italy.
- Assist customers in choosing the right robotic lawnmower for their needs.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, escalating where necessary.
- Work closely with the technical and aftersales teams to ensure timely resolutions.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and support cases.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance the customer experience.
- Always operate according to Group culture, values, rules and procedures.
Skills & qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Electronics or auto mechanic
– or equivalent knowledge gained through further education. - A valid driving license.
KNOWLEDGE:
- Experience
minimum 3 to 5 years in technical support or after-sales service, preferably in the robotics or power equipment industry. - Knowledge
of an
electronics or auto mechanic
is needed. - Strong
technical understanding
of robotic mowers or similar automated equipment. - Comfortable using
CRM systems
and troubleshooting guides. - Skillful with tools (eg. device for robot programming, tools for dismount/clean/change components and with devices for robot programming).
- Proficiency in using digital tools for documentation, reporting, and remote troubleshooting.
LANGUAGES:
- English mother tongue.
