The RoleSustainable Views is looking for a Policy Reporter to join our growing editorial team and support the creation and expansion of our Policy Tracker database. This role is ideal for someone with a keen interest in sustainable finance, regulatory affairs and public policy, who enjoys both analytical research and journalistic writing.
You will be a primary researcher responsible for tracking, summarising and updating ESG-related policies and provisions across global jurisdictions, helping our B2B clients navigate a complex regulatory landscape. You will also contribute weekly articles and collaborate closely with the editorial team to identify newsworthy developments.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor regulatory and industry sources for new ESG policy provisions
- Write clear, concise summaries and updates for our proprietary Policy Tracker database
- Produce approximately one article per week for Sustainable Views
- Potentially commission and edit contributions from fellow team members
- Participate in editorial meetings and pitch story ideas
- Demonstrable interest in sustainable finance, regulatory affairs and policy
- Strong research and information synthesis skills
- Ability to translate complex regulatory text into accessible, engaging summaries
- No university degree required
- Familiarity with data handling and databases preferred
- Experience in journalism or policy research
- Existing network of contacts in the regulatory or sustainability sectors
- Interest in building subject-matter expertise in ESG regulations
