Product Design Technician

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role supporting the Product Design department at an award-winning all-through girls' school. We are looking to recruit a Product Design Technician with skills and interest in all aspects of Design and Technology.
The role
The role would suit a person who can multi-task, is flexible, open to change, and can respond to/anticipate the needs of the department as they arise. Key responsibilities of this role include:
● Preparing materials (modelling materials as well as woods, metals and plastics) and equipment for lessons using a range of workshop tools
● Storing and disposing of stock in accordance with health and safety practice
● Working one on one with students on specialist machines
● Supporting students in use of CAD/CAM.
