Level 3 Early Years Practitioner Room Lead

We are looking for an energetic individual to join our team as room lead in the baby/toddler room to work five days a week at our wonderful nursery. You should have a minimum level 3 qualification in childcare, with at least two years experience working in a nursery setting. You should have a passion for working with children, work well in a team, work on your own initiative, have good knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding. First aid training desirable and a creative mind. Term time only, however option of working through holidays is available.
* Position to start in January 2026
*MUST HAVE MINIMUM OF LEVEL 3 QUALIFICATION IN CHILDCARE TO APPLY
The nursery is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Services, and the post is exempt from the rehabilitation of Offenders act 1974.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
