Lead development & execution of plans to realise the internal and/or external communications vision, with a significant impact on improving the internal and external perception of Arqiva
The role
- Lead the development and delivery of internal communications plans aligned to Arqiva's strategic priorities, especially Focus 26.
- Coordinate and oversee major internal campaigns and events, including the annual Arqiva Live kick-off.
- Partner with ExCo and senior leaders to advise, coach, and influence internal messaging and engagement.
- Develop and evolve the internal communications service offering, ensuring governance and alignment with Marketing and Public Affairs.
- Deputise for the Director of Communications as required.
- Manage strategic projects and initiatives that impact internal and external reputation.
- Oversee internal communications channels and platforms to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Use insight and measurement tools to assess and improve internal perception and engagement.
- Line manage two team members, fostering development and high performance.
The person
- A seasoned internal communications professional with a track record of delivering strategic campaigns and engagement initiatives.
- Skilled in planning, channel management, content creation, and impact measurement.
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and representing the business in high-profile internal forums.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences and channels.
- Strong relationship builder with high emotional intelligence and active listening skills.
- High integrity and discretion, especially when handling sensitive information.
- Experience managing internal comms teams and working with external agencies is a plus.
