Overview

We're seeking a proactive and analytical M&A professional to oversee the full lifecycle of acquisition activity - from sourcing and evaluating potential opportunities through to execution and post-deal integration. This position plays a key role in supporting the company's long-term growth strategy by identifying strategic fits and ensuring efficient delivery of transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Opportunity Sourcing & Pipeline Development

  • Research, identify, and evaluate acquisition prospects that align with business priorities.
  • Build and maintain a strong deal pipeline, monitoring market dynamics and competitor movements.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key industry stakeholders and potential partners.

Deal Execution

  • Lead all stages of the transaction process, including financial assessment, valuation modeling, due diligence coordination, and documentation.
  • Develop and present investment cases and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate across internal functions (finance, legal, operations, etc.) and with external advisors to ensure timely, efficient deal delivery.
  • Structure and negotiate deals that balance risk with strategic opportunity.

Integration & Strategic Support

  • Partner with internal teams to design and implement integration plans that realize expected value from acquisitions.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives involving operational assessments and synergy analysis.

Stakeholder Management & Negotiation

  • Represent company interests throughout discussions and negotiations with target businesses and advisors.
  • Work closely with executive leadership to align deal structure and negotiation strategy with organizational goals.

About You

  • Experience in M&A, corporate development, investment banking, or transaction advisory.
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, with an ability to translate analysis into strategic insights.
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Big 4 Trained – Ideally Consumer Client exposure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence working alongside senior decision-makers.
  • Proven project management capabilities, able to coordinate multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commercially astute, detail-oriented, and comfortable navigating ambiguity and complex transactions.
