My client is a well respected London Market Insurer and they are looking for a Product Manager to join them on their Digital Journey and be responsible for ensuring that products and services are properly managed, planned and operate in a controlled mannerwith a specific focus assisting with the IT products arising from their Merger & Acquisition activities.

As the Product Manager reporting to the CIO, you will be responsible for bringing together a cross functional product team that works collaboratively to create the right product, building it right and build it fast.

Key Responsibilities:

- Participate in the leadership and relationship management discussion about the shape and contents of their product portfolio.
- Manage the long-term roadmap, involving sales, marketing, implementations, clients, prospects, partners, and other groups.
- Define quarterly outcomes using a Objectives & Key Results (OKR's) framewrok.
- Define the nature and scope of the products and services.
- Define the customers for products and services and establish their characteristics as buyers and users.
- Define the value proposition and service levels
- Analyse and communicate the competitive positioning of the service (for example, why the IT organization is best qualified to deliver the service), and provide recommendations on how the service should be sourced.
- Work with financial analytical support, analyse the costs associated with delivering the service and identifying opportunities for improvement. This can extend to include profit and loss analysis.

Required skills/ experience:

- Insurance / London Market Insurance qualifications/ experience preffered
- Significant hands on experience of using Agile to achieve shared goals and business outcomes
- Working with internal and external teams located across multiple time zones
- Skilled in the analysis and documentation of complex business processes
- End to end experience of product and project lifecycles over medium and large-scale projects
- A track record of quantifiable, results-based achievement
- Broad understanding of project delivery practices and management methodologies
- Very good exposure to Mergers & Acquisitions
