What is the role all about?
This role is supporting the safe operation of healthcare services provided and commissioned by the local authority. The Clinical Assurance and Quality Team plays a vital role in maintaining high standards of patient care and safety in various aspects of clinical governance, including risk management, incident reporting, and quality improvement.
What will your day look like?
No two days in this role will ever feel the same The successful candidate will play a key role working with the Clinical Assurance and Quality Team to:
- Implement robust, efficient and effective clinical governance processes to support safe clinical care provided by the local authority.
- Support in ensuring that NELC is compliant with regulatory and statutory duties alongside internal clinical governance arrangements in all areas associated with clinical care.
- Provide project support required for all external inspections for health care regulated activities, provided by NELC, providing advice within inspection preparation and during inspections.
- Support delivery of the screening programmes, delivered by the School Nursing Service, within educational settings across North East Lincolnshire.
- Provide cover to the Clinical Assurance and Quality Coordinator role in the absence of the postholder, specifically for the statutory Child Death Review arrangements.

It is a contractual and essential requirement that the successful candidate is registered with the DBS Update Service.
