Funds Associate - Asset Management Practice - Elite US Law Firm - London

A premier US law firm is seeking a talented Funds Associate to join its dynamic and market-leading asset management team in London. This is a rare opportunity to work at the forefront of the investment funds industry, advising a diverse client base that includes both globally recognised institutions and cutting-edge start-ups.

The successful candidate will play a key role in advising clients on the structuring, establishment, and reorganisation of investment vehicles across a broad spectrum of asset classes and fund types. The team is particularly experienced in supporting clients within the mainstream and alternative sectors, including real asset and credit funds, retail mutual funds, UK-listed investment companies, REITs, structured products, private equity, and hedge funds.

This role offers exposure to a wide range of legal and regulatory matters, including:

• Advising asset managers on general corporate and regulatory issues affecting their operations and product offerings
• Supporting institutional investors on their private fund investments and secondary sales
• Assisting with the launch of new businesses and financial products, from concept through to execution
• Navigating complex fund structuring and compliance challenges across multiple jurisdictions

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in funds work, gained at a leading law firm in the UK, and a genuine interest in the asset management industry. A solid understanding of the regulatory landscape and commercial drivers behind fund formation and investment strategies is essential.
