Working 7 days in every 14 days with every other weekend off

Week 1: Mon, Tues, Fri & Sat

About the role

As part of our exciting expansion plan, we are seeking a motivated and experienced manager to lead our fast-paced cold storage operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of operatives, ensuring that chilled and frozen products are handled safely, stored efficiently, and dispatched accurately.

You will lead, motivate, and develop your team to achieve daily targets while maintaining high standards of efficiency, safety, and quality. A key part of the role is overseeing the safe handling, storage, and movement of stock, ensuring compliance with food safety and temperature requirements, and maintaining accurate stock control, including strict adherence to FIFO practices. You will also monitor team performance, provide coaching where needed, and support the safe use of FLT and pallet truck equipment in line with training and licensing requirements.

We are looking for someone with proven experience managing teams in a warehouse, production, or cold storage environment, with a strong understanding of stock control, temperature management, and food safety compliance. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills and the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, combined with a focus on teamwork and staff development, are essential.

This is a hands-on leadership role in a dynamic and growing operation, offering the opportunity to make a real impact, develop your team, and contribute to the continued success of our Deep Chill project.
