Quality Engineer

Liverpool, Liverpool, United Kingdom Domino Sweden Full time £40,000 - £60,000 per year

About The Role
The Process Engineer will play a pivotal role in driving customer-focused quality and continuous process improvements across the site, with a particular emphasis on products that have completed the NPI process.

This role will act as a key advocate of the Site Quality Management System, participating in internal audits, reviewing and updating Standard Operating Procedures, and evaluating the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions. A major focus will be on fostering a culture of standardisation and process excellence across all site operations.

By leveraging data from Right First Time analyses, raw material trends, and process performance metrics, the Process Engineer will proactively identify, recommend, and implement improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and product performance - from chemical raw materials through to packaging components.

In addition, the Process Engineer will act as deputy to the Quality Manager, assuming full responsibilities in their absence.

About You
Domino values diversity and is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applications from all candidates; however, only those eligible to work in the UK without the need for additional immigration documentation will be considered for this position.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Proven experience applying an effective Quality Management System in a fast-paced production or technical environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse processes and use evidence to determine optimal outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Skilled in leading investigations, identifying root causes, and driving effective corrective actions.
  • A strong desire to achieve Six Sigma and Lead Auditor qualifications, demonstrating commitment to continuous professional development.

What You Can Expect
As a talented individual working at Domino, you can expect a competitive salary and a generous benefits package, including:

  • 25 days of basic holiday, plus options to buy or sell additional days, ensuring you have ample time to relax and recharge.
  • A discretionary bonus scheme, a testament to your hard work and dedication.
  • Life insurance, providing security and peace of mind for you and your loved ones.
  • Medical insurance with the option of purchasing a health cash plan, dental insurance, travel insurance and cycle to work scheme, ensuring your health is always a top priority.
  • Join our green car scheme, a step towards a more environmentally friendly commute, with free EV parking onsite.
  • Pension plan, starting with 8% employer contributions.

We are a highly successful company, we're large enough to offer career development opportunities yet small enough for your contribution to be readily recognised and rewarded.

We recognise that flexible working can be beneficial and at Domino we want people to feel able to own the way they work. What this looks like might vary between teams - what's important is that we enable you to get the best from us and for us to get the best from you, as long as we continue to collaborate and enable great outcomes for our customers.
