Commercial Finance Broker – Northampton

Leading Independent Brokerage | SME & Corporate Lending

Our client is a leading commercial finance brokerage based in Northampton, providing businesses across the UK with access to the funding solutions they need to grow. With strong lender relationships and a reputation for delivering tailored finance packages, they are now looking to expand their team with a driven Commercial Finance Broker.

The Role

As a Broker, you'll be responsible for managing client enquiries, structuring finance packages, and building strong lender relationships. You don't need prior experience as a Commercial Finance Broker – what matters most is proven sales ability, relationship-building skills, and the drive to succeed. Full training and support will be provided to help you transition into the role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing client enquiries and identifying suitable funding solutions.
  • Structuring deals across a range of products including commercial mortgages, asset finance, invoice finance, and business loans.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with both clients and lenders.
  • Generating new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and proactive outreach.
  • Delivering a professional, consultative service to SME and corporate clients.

About You

  • Strong B2B or B2C sales background (finance experience helpful but not essential).
  • Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development.
  • Ambitious, with the drive to develop a long-term career in commercial finance.
