What You'll Be Doing

As our Finance Trainee / Administrator, you'll become an integral part of our finance team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the finance team and wider management with general admin tasks.
  • Entering and maintaining accurate data in accounting and payroll systems.
  • Assisting with weekly and monthly financial reconciliations.
  • Handling supplier queries and managing incoming calls and emails.
  • Organising and maintaining digital and physical filing systems.
  • Opening and logging post.
  • Ensuring the smooth running of the finance department.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same — perfect for someone who enjoys learning on the job and taking initiative.

About You

We're looking for someone enthusiastic, curious, and ready to dive in.

You will need:

  • Prior administrative experience (office or business support).
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • To live locally and be able to commute to our Worthing office — a full, non-provisional driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required.

It would be a bonus if you have:

  • A basic understanding of bookkeeping or accounting principles.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office or Office 365.
