Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and culinary arts, with the ability to manage a dynamic team while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
  • Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards throughout the kitchen.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and operational procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively to optimise profitability.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain a positive atmosphere within the kitchen, encouraging teamwork and open communication.

Skills

  • Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong background in food production with extensive culinary experience.
  • Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead by example.
  • Proficient in food preparation techniques and cooking methods across various cuisines.
  • Solid knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Previous restaurant experience is essential, with a focus on hospitality excellence.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
