**Job Summary**We are looking for a dedicated and clinically excellent **Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN)** to step into the key role of **Unit Manager** at our well-regarded nursing home in Staffordshire. This is an ideal opportunity for a senior **Staff Nurse** or **Clinical Lead** ready to take on greater leadership responsibility.
As a **Unit Manager**, you will be the clinical and managerial lead for a specific unit, ensuring the delivery of outstanding, person-centred **elderly care**. **Key Responsibilities*** Provide daily clinical leadership and management for your designated unit, acting as the **Clinical Lead** for your team.
* Oversee all aspects of care delivery, including complex care needs, medication administration, and care planning.
* Mentor, supervise, and support a team of **Staff Nurses** and care assistants, promoting best practices and continuous development.
* Take charge of the clinical environment, ensuring high standards of safety, hygiene, and person-centred care are maintained.
* Manage the unit's resources effectively, including staff delegation and shift planning in liaison with the **Home Manager**.
* Act as a role model for your team, providing expert clinical guidance and upholding the values of the home.
* Deputise for the **Deputy Manager** as required, developing your skills in home-wide management.
**Qualifications & Experience Required*** **Valid NMC PIN** as a **Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN)**.
* A minimum of **2 years of post-qualification experience** within a UK **nursing home** or **care home** environment.
* Proven experience in a senior **clinical** capacity, such as a Senior **Staff Nurse** or **Clinical Lead**.
* A strong, demonstrable knowledge of the complex care needs within **elderly care**.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
* The ambition to develop your career in care home management.
