You will be joining an organisation with a fun, entrepreneurial and supportive environment, providing fulfilling work and an open, informal culture.

Purpose of the Role

As an Operations Support Officer (Learning & Development), you will provide critical administrative and operational support to ensure Corndel's Operations Team has access to timely, relevant, and high-quality learning and development opportunities. You will support the administration of the Learning Management System (LMS), maintain the quality of learning materials, and contribute to reporting and monitoring of learning records.

Your work will directly impact the professional growth of our Operations Team, supporting the transformation and continuous improvement of Corndel's internal Learning & Development offer.

Key Responsibilities

Learning Content & Systems Administration

  • Refine, upload, and maintain learning content within the LMS to enhance staff learning and development.

  • Administer LMS platforms, including recording attendance, updating completions, creating course profiles, and managing certifications.

  • Maintain training calendars, scheduling inductions and training sessions/workshops.

  • Support Operations Team users with LMS navigation and troubleshooting, providing step-by-step guidance to ensure effective utilisation of resources.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Ensure all learning materials are regularly reviewed, updated, and aligned to industry standards and organisational needs.

  • Adhere to quality assurance measures to ensure content accuracy and relevance both pre-launch and during review cycles.

  • Contribute to the development and revision of L&D policies, ensuring compliance with current legislation and organisational best practice.

Reporting & Stakeholder Communication

  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Director of Operational Enablement on progress and challenges.

  • Act as the first point of contact for L&D queries through central portals and other communication channels, responding efficiently and accurately.

  • Maintain intranet pages and SharePoint content related to L&D, ensuring information is accessible and user-friendly.

Collaboration & Operational Support

  • Support the development of learning resources and evaluation tools in collaboration with the L&D team (e.g., manuals, instructional videos).

  • Contribute to operational projects and administrative processes that enhance efficiency, consistency, and learner experience.

  • Work closely with the L&D team to understand learning needs requirements and support the implementation of relevant initiatives.

Culture, Care & Communication

  • Actively contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture built on trust, collaboration, and accountability, reflecting Corndel's values and behavioural framework.

  • Support wellbeing and psychological safety by creating respectful, empathetic, and supportive interactions with colleagues.

  • Build strong working relationships across teams, ensuring effective communication and a sense of connection, even in a remote-first environment.

  • Model excellent communication by sharing information clearly, promptly, and with consideration of different audiences.

  • Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and inclusivity in all aspects of your work, helping to create a workplace where colleagues feel valued and empowered.

Success in this role looks like:

  • LMS platforms are accurate, up to date, and simple for all staff to navigate and use effectively.
  • Training schedules, enrolments, and learning materials are consistently well managed, supporting high-quality delivery.
  • L&D queries are handled promptly and clearly, providing colleagues with the right guidance and support.
  • Quality assurance processes keep all learning content current, relevant, and compliant with standards.
  • Reports and updates are timely, accurate, and provide stakeholders with clear insights and actionable information.
  • Operations Team staff feel supported, engaged, and confident in accessing and applying learning resources.

You'll be brilliant in this role if you:

  • Are highly organised and able to plan, prioritise, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Have strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality output in learning materials, communications, and reporting.

  • Communicate clearly, empathetically, and confidently with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.

  • Are proficient in digital tools, including Articulate Rise, Canva, Adobe, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Adapt quickly to change, learn new systems, and respond to challenges with composure and agility.

  • Bring a positive, can-do attitude and thrive in collaborative environments.

  • Value inclusivity, operate with integrity and professionalism, and empower others to do the same.

  • Are curious, committed to continuous learning, and passionate about professional development.
