Position:

£24,479.00 per annum (£13.45 per hour)

35 hours per week, rota schedule across 7 days

Leyland's Estate, Derby

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our established supported living team based at Eborn House in North Derby. Your day will be spent working on site providing intensive housing management and tenancy support services to our residents, enabling residents to maintain maximum independence.

You will undertake a keyworker role and provide both planned and responsive visits to residents. You will undertake assessments to support residents' health, safety and welfare needs. You will work as part of a close-knit team to resolve issues and provide practical support to residents so they can manage money and apply for benefits, liaise with Adult Social Care and Health professionals amongst others to ensure good safeguarding of residents.

You will adopt solution-focused approaches to problem solving and work dynamically with residents to an agreed action plan, addressing their housing support needs. You will assist the Senior Housing Assistant to process housing applications and match prospective residents to properties and promote efficient void turn around.

Your focus will be to ensure residents homes are safe places that give them hope for their future, promote positive health in an environment they can enjoy and create happiness living in.

Requirements:

We are looking for an individual with experience or demonstrable skills to support older and disabled people in a housing setting and will have a calm and compassionate nature, possessing a firm but fair approach where needed.

We ask that you are flexible as this role works on a rota basis predominantly 9am to 5pm Monday to Sunday. You will also cover the out of hours On Call service and respond to emergency calls as part of an 1 week in 6 rota, for which additional remuneration is made.
