We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Ashford, Kent. Job Title: Lead Veterinary Surgeon

Location: Ashford, Kent

Working Hours: 40 hours a week over 4 days, plus a 1:6 Richmond 24 hours hospital rota

Salary: £55,000 - £80,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals.
  • Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
  • Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
  • Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Compassionate and caring approach to animals.
