OVERVIEW

Gotobeat is a fast-growing event management startup with over 7 years of experience in the live events and hospitality sector. Our team has proudly promoted shows at renowned venues such as the Roundhouse, O2 Kentish Town Forum, and many more across the UK/EU.

We also specialise in delivering exceptional food & beverage experiences, and we're now looking for enthusiastic and reliable Bar Staff to join our team for upcoming events.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a lively, fast-paced environment, providing excellent service to guests and contributing to the vibrant atmosphere that defines our events. Previous bar or hospitality experience is a plus, but we also welcome motivated individuals eager to learn — full training is provided. All positions are paid.

Responsibilities

  • Serve drinks and food efficiently and courteously to customers
  • Take orders accurately and process payments using the till system
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
  • Restock supplies as needed for smooth operation during shifts
  • Engage with patrons and provide a welcoming, friendly atmosphere
  • Support the team during festivals, private functions, and special events
  • Follow all health and safety regulations diligently

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality or events is preferred but not essential
  • Strong serving and customer service skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently during busy periods
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash and card transactions
  • A friendly, proactive, and professional attitude
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and during event peak times

IMPORTANT

Specifically, this call refers to a food festival taking place in London during the first week of May 2026, but we're always looking for staff — as a start-up constantly organizing events, having a pool of great applicants is always helpful.
